On Friday, Feb. 28, former Pontotoc High School standout Brice Deaton’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, won 10-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Arkansas State Red Wolves.

The game took place at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Red Wolves this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 6 p.m. at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium against Arkansas State Red Wolves.
