The Southeastern Conference announced on May 13 that Ole Miss senior Judd Utermark has been named to the 2026 Baseball Community Service Team.

The recognition highlights student-athletes who make significant contributions to their communities beyond athletic competition. The Southeastern Conference selects a Community Service Team for each of its 22 league-sponsored sports, honoring one athlete from each school for outstanding service efforts.

Utermark has participated in several programs within Oxford and Mississippi, including serving as Vice President of the Ole Miss Athletics Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He has volunteered with Reading with the Rebels, visiting local elementary schools to read and interact with students. He also assisted Adopt-a-Basket by helping collect items for over 100 Thanksgiving food baskets distributed locally.

His community involvement extends to Feed the Sip, a project focused on food sustainability that supports elementary students in Tunica and Quitman counties through donations of non-perishable food items. Utermark took part in A Night to Shine, an inclusive prom event hosted by The Tim Tebow Foundation for individuals with disabilities, and contributed to Hygiene Hijack by collecting toiletry items donated to campus Violence Intervention and Prevention Services.

During the Christmas season, he led his team’s participation in CASA of North Mississippi’s Adopt-a-Child Christmas Program, providing gifts for foster children. Utermark remains active within the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Ole Miss.
