Ole Miss Baseball will host Little Rock for its annual Kid’s Day game at Swayze Field, with first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m. on March 31. The Rebels enter the matchup with a record of 19-10 overall and 3-6 in Southeastern Conference play, while Little Rock holds a 17-11 overall record and is 5-1 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The game is part of Ole Miss’ ongoing efforts to engage younger fans and foster community support through special events. Both teams bring notable achievements into the contest, with Ole Miss having started their home schedule with a program-best 16-0 run before dropping their first home loss during the Kentucky series.
Several players have stood out this season for Ole Miss. Tristan Bissetta became the fastest Rebel to hit 13 home runs in a season, reaching that mark just 23 games into the year and currently ranking second in the SEC in home runs. Judd Utermark has also contributed significantly, ranking among conference leaders in runs scored and home runs. Dom Decker stands second in walks both within the SEC and nationally, while Hunter Elliott ranks ninth in strikeouts among SEC pitchers.
On the mound Tuesday, left-hander Grayson Gibson (1-1, 2.25 ERA) is set to start for Ole Miss against Little Rock’s left-hander Nic Bronzini (0-1, 11.57 ERA). Fans can watch live on SEC Network+ or listen via the Ole Miss Radio Network.
Little Rock enters under head coach Chris Curry’s leadership, who has guided them to recent postseason successes including an OVC Tournament title last year and two consecutive seasons surpassing thirty wins. Key hitters Kade Smith and Easton Roe each boast batting averages over .350 this season.
The Rebels are coming off four straight losses but look to rebound at home where they have had early-inning success—outscoring opponents by nearly double over the first four innings of games played so far this season.
