The Ole Miss women’s tennis team has canceled its upcoming match against Illinois, which was set for Sunday, February 1. The decision comes as winter storm conditions have affected local electrical power and transportation in Oxford, Mississippi.

According to the announcement, the match will not be rescheduled.

“Due to winter storm conditions impacting local electrical power and transportation, the Ole Miss women’s tennis match against Illinois, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 1, has been canceled,” the statement read.
