The No. 10 Ole Miss men’s golf team will begin play at the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional at Bermuda Run Country Club on May 18. This marks the ninth consecutive season that Ole Miss has qualified for an NCAA Regional.

The regional tournament features 14 teams and five individuals competing over three days and 54 holes of stroke play. The top five teams, along with the lowest-scoring individual from a non-qualifying team, will advance to the NCAA Championships starting May 29 in Carlsbad, California.

This year’s lineup includes seniors Tom Fischer, Cameron Tankersley, and Cohen Trolio; junior Collins Trolio; and freshman Finn Meister. Fischer leads the team in scoring average, rounds under par, and birdies this season. Tankersley secured his first collegiate win earlier this year while Cohen Trolio has recorded four top ten finishes.

Head coach Chris Malloy was named SEC Coach of the Year following Ole Miss’s success during the regular season and their victory at the SEC Championship in April. “We have a really cool relationship and have been around each other and our best friends,” Cohen said about playing alongside his brother Collins for another season. Collins added: “It could not have worked out any better because I never saw us getting the chance to play collegiately together.”

The Rebels are coming off what is described as one of their most successful seasons in program history, earning their first-ever No. 1 ranking last October and reaching the semifinals at last year’s NCAA Championships.
