The Southeastern Conference and the Ole Miss men’s basketball program have announced changes to their upcoming games against Vanderbilt. The first game, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 31 at the SJB Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi, will now take place in Nashville, Tennessee at 5 p.m. The second matchup between the teams is set for either Tuesday, March 3 or Wednesday, March 4 and will be played in Oxford. The exact date and time for this game will be determined later. Broadcast information for both games has not yet been released.

Tickets that were purchased for the January 31 game in Oxford will be valid for the rescheduled home game against Vanderbilt on March 4.

These adjustments follow Winter Storm Fern, which caused significant disruption in Oxford and the surrounding area. The storm led to damage throughout the community and prompted Ole Miss to close its campus through Sunday, February 8. Many residents are still experiencing outages of power and water as well as problems with cellular and internet service. Hazardous conditions persist due to ice on roads and walkways, non-functioning stop lights, downed trees and power lines, and falling ice as temperatures change.

“All tickets purchased for the Saturday, January 31 game originally scheduled to be played in Oxford will be honored at the rescheduled home game versus Vanderbilt on March 4.”
