The Ole Miss men’s golf team, ranked 13th nationally, finished tied for fourth place at the Cabo Collegiate tournament in Los Cabos, Mexico. This marks the team’s sixth top-five finish of the season. The Rebels recorded a final round score of 281, three under par, and an overall score of 844, eight under par for the week.
Tom Fischer ended his performance tied for sixth place at six under par. This is his second top-10 finish this season and the eighth in his collegiate career. Fischer posted under-par scores in all three rounds at Twin Dolphin Club.
Cohen Trolio completed the tournament at two under par after shooting a two-under 69 in the final round. He finished in 16th place, giving him five top-20 finishes in six stroke play events this season.
Cameron Tankersley finished one shot behind Trolio at one under par, tying for 17th place.
Throughout the week, Ole Miss ranked third among participating teams in both par-4 and par-5 scoring.
The Rebels will next compete at the Pauma Valley Invitational from March 16 to 18 at Pauma Valley Country Club.
