Ole Miss men’s tennis head coach Jake Jacoby announced on May 12 the addition of Igor Kudriashov as the first signee for the team’s 2026-27 season.

The signing is notable as Kudriashov brings significant international experience and professional achievements to the program. His arrival marks a key development for Ole Miss men’s tennis, which continues to strengthen its roster with accomplished players.

“Igor is absolutely one of the top newcomers to college tennis this coming season,” Jacoby said. “He already has seven total professional ITF titles and is an incredibly mature young man. He’s made the most of his situation as a full-time student in Moscow, fulfilling his required military service, and still playing at a top 600 ATP level over the past few years. He is super happy to take advantage of this opportunity here in Oxford, and he’s a wonderful person, too. He will have a big impact on our lineup and our culture!”

Kudriashov comes from Ufa, Russia, where he attended the Russian University of Sport in Moscow. His recent record includes six combined International Tennis Federation (ITF) singles and doubles titles earned in 2024 and 2025. He currently holds a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 13.73. Kudriashov reached his career-high Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) singles ranking at No. 625 in November 2025 and achieved a career-high ATP doubles ranking at No. 575 in November 2024.

This recruitment marks Jacoby’s first signing out of the transfer portal for next season’s roster, with more additions expected ahead.
