Ole Miss recognized 48 student-athletes on the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll, according to an announcement from SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. The honor roll includes athletes from cross country, football, soccer, and volleyball who completed their seasons as part of their teams’ competition rosters during the 2025 fall season.
The Southeastern Conference honored a total of 1,514 student-athletes across its 16 member schools in this release. Eligibility for the Academic Honor Roll requires that undergraduate or graduate student-athletes maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average over the previous academic year or cumulatively at their institution. Additional requirements include successful completion of a set number of academic credit hours and participation on a varsity team for the full NCAA Championship segment.
Ole Miss Athletics reported a department semester record with a 3.29 GPA last fall. Seventeen out of eighteen teams and 63 percent of Ole Miss student-athletes achieved at least a 3.0 GPA.
The FedEx Student-Athlete Success Center supports these efforts through programs aimed at promoting academic and personal achievement among student-athletes. Its mission is “to promote academic and personal achievement through quality developmental and need-based programs designed to empower and holistically develop student-athletes for life after collegiate athletics.”
