The No. 19 Ole Miss women’s golf team earned a place in the 2026 NCAA Championship after finishing tied for fourth on May 13 at the NCAA Louisville Regional held at the University of Louisville Golf Club.

This achievement marks the seventh time in program history that Ole Miss has qualified for the NCAA Championship, with each appearance occurring within the past nine seasons and all under head coach Kory Henkes. The team’s performance was highlighted by a third-round score of 286, which was the best of any team on day three.

Kajsalotta Svarvar led Ole Miss with a round of three-under-par 69, finishing third individually at eight under for the regional. This is Svarvar’s fourth top-five finish this season and her fifth time placing in the top ten. Mary Miller contributed with a two-under-par round to finish four under overall and tied for ninth individually, marking her fifth top-ten result this year. Matilda Björkman and Filippa Sundquist both shot rounds of 74 to tie for 26th place, while Sophie Linder posted a one-over-par score to help secure the team’s strong final round.

The upcoming NCAA Championship will feature thirty schools competing over fifty-four holes of stroke play from May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. The top fifteen teams and nine individuals from non-advancing teams will progress to an additional day of stroke play before match play determines the national champion among eight schools.
