Ole Miss women’s basketball secured its 20th win of the season with an 80-57 victory over Arkansas on Thursday night at SJB Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi. The team, led by head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin, has now achieved at least 20 wins for five consecutive seasons, a feat last accomplished under Van Chancellor from 1981 to 1992.

With this win, Ole Miss remains undefeated at home on Craddock Court with a 12-0 record for the season. The Rebels have scored at least 80 points in 13 games this year, marking the eighth most in program history for a single season.

Arkansas struggled offensively against Ole Miss, recording their third-lowest point total against Southeastern Conference (SEC) opponents this season and committing 18 fouls.

Cotie McMahon led the scoring effort for Ole Miss with 21 points. This marked her fifth straight game—and fifteenth time this season—scoring at least 20 points. She is now within 20 points of reaching the career milestone of 2,000 points, which only four other players in program history have achieved.

Defensively, Latasha Lattimore and Sira Thienou played key roles. Lattimore recorded five blocks and has now surpassed the 50-block mark for the year. She also contributed her second consecutive double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Thienou added four steals to bring her season total to a team-high of 44 steals and scored 11 points with eight rebounds.

Denim DeShields posted a season-high of 12 points—all from three-point range—matching her career-best for three-pointers made in a game. Debreasha Powe reached a personal milestone by scoring her 1,000th career point during the game.

The Rebels started strong offensively and maintained control throughout the match. After building an early lead, they continued to extend their advantage through each quarter. In the fourth quarter alone, Lattimore scored ten points as Ole Miss secured a decisive win.

Ole Miss will play its next game on the road against Kentucky in Lexington, with tipoff scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m., broadcast on SECN.
