After two rounds at the Puerto Rico Classic, the No. 15 Ole Miss women’s golf team is in fifth place with a score of 566 (-10). Three players finished under par on Sunday.

Kajsalotta Svarvar leads Ole Miss at five-under after posting rounds of 69 and 70. She started both rounds with a bogey but responded with several birdies, finishing tied for eighth heading into the final round.

Matilda Björkman made her first spring start and is four-under through two rounds. She shot a one-under 71 in the first round and followed up with a three-under 69 in the second round. Björkman has now recorded six sub-par rounds this season and is tied for twelfth place.

Mary Miller also completed the first two rounds under par at two-under.

Sophie Linder, Nicole Gal, and Filippa Sundquist posted over-par scores at Grand Reserve Golf Club. Sundquist recovered from a difficult opening round to tie her career-low single-round score with a four-under performance in round two.

The third and final round will begin at 5:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
