On Friday, April 4, former Pontotoc High School standout Brice Deaton’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kennesaw State Owls.

The game took place at S. Walter Kelly Sr. Memorial Field. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 4 p.m. at S. Walter Kelly Sr. Memorial Field against Kennesaw State Owls.
