On Friday, March 7, former Pontotoc High School standout Brice Deaton’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Ole Miss Rebels.
The game took place at Swayze Field. This was their first matchup against the Rebels this season.
The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Swayze Field against Ole Miss Rebels.
