On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Pontotoc High School standout Brice Deaton’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, won 10-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia State Panthers.

The game took place at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium against Georgia State Panthers.
