Due to severe winter weather affecting Oxford, Mississippi, and the surrounding area, the 2026 Patriot Rifle Conference (PRC) Tournament will not be hosted by Ole Miss as originally planned. The event, which was scheduled for February 7 and 8, will instead take place at The X Count in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The decision to move the tournament was made because of disruptions to local electrical power and transportation caused by the storm. All seven teams in the PRC are expected to travel to Indiana for the competition. Admission will be free for attendees.
Last season, The X Count also hosted the conference tournament. During that event, Ole Miss finished second overall and secured a silver team medal in smallbore and a bronze in air rifle. Audrey Gogniat won both individual titles and became Ole Miss’ first PRC aggregate champion.
Ole Miss had previously canceled a tri-team tournament with Georgia Southern and Navy due to similar weather concerns. The team’s next scheduled competition is against Memphis on February 14 in Oxford.
