On Sunday, March 9, former Pontotoc High School standout Brice Deaton’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, lost 13-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Ole Miss Rebels.
The game took place at Swayze Field. This was their third matchup against the Rebels this season.
The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium against Troy Trojans.
