Pontotoc High School standout Brice Deaton’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Tuesday, March 11

On Tuesday, March 11, former Pontotoc High School standout Brice Deaton’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Troy Trojans.

The game took place at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Trojans this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 2:35 p.m. at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium against Southeast Missouri State Redhawks.
