On Saturday, Feb. 8, former New Albany High School standout Maguire Miskelly’s current college team, the Mississippi Choctaws, won 11-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers.

The game took place at Sand Mountain Park. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Choctaws’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. at Sand Mountain Park against Young Harris Mountain Lions.
