The SPHS Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band recently participated in the MHSAA State Concert Band Evaluation in Oxford. The evaluation is equivalent to the state's core-subject tests. Ensembles are judged in the areas of concert performance and sight reading. The wind ensemble received a "superior" rating in concert performance and an "excellent" rating in sight reading. The symphonic band received an "excellent" rating in concert performance and a "superior" rating in sight reading. Congratulations to our band!
