On April 11, 2022 dispatch contacted Alan Wilburn regarding a boating accident. Major Wilburn along with Captain Jarett Bundren and Investigator Micah East responded to the call. Upon arrival they found two men barely hanging on to a sinking boat. These three men worked nonstop rescuing these men from the water. The two men were transported to the hospital and treated for hypothermia and exhaustion. Because of your actions and quick thinking, these two men survived the boating accident. We are proud to have you leading our Sheriff's Department in lifesaving rescues.
