Panola County Sheriff's Office- MS National Police Week

131

Today marks the beginning of Police Week 2022.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week.

This year, the names of 619 officers killed in the line of duty were added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

We honor all of our fallen officers.

During this week the PCSO will be honoring and remembering Panola County’ s fallen heroes:

Panola County Deputy Sheriff Joe Cosby

E.O.W. (End of Watch) September 30, 1988

Crenshaw Police Officer William Leo Parrish

E.O.W. April 1, 1989

Panola County Constable Raye Hawkins

E.O.W. December 12, 2019

All gave some……Some gave all.
