At tonight’s City of Oxford Mayor and Board of Aldermen meeting, Shay Zinnecker and Jessica Bray were presented with the OPD Citizen’s Valor Award for their actions on the June 8th shooting off of University Ave.
The Valor Award reads, “whose actions on June 8, 2022, displayed outstanding execution of duties which involve sacrifice or extreme personal risk, heroism, and demonstrate extraordinary judgement, zeal, and bravery which is clearly above and beyond the call of duty.”
