67

Lt. Chris Case was presented a Blue Line Award for his recent actions in helping a citizen! Great work, Lt. Case!

The certificate reads:

"This letter is in recognition of Lieutenant Chris Case. On June 10, 2022, Lieutenant Case responded to a call from an injured citizen in distress. An elderly citizen, who has several medical issues, had fallen and sustained serious injuries. Lieutenant Case heard the cries of the citizen and was able to locate them. Upon locating the injured citizen, Lieutenant Case showed an incredible level of compassion for the victim and assisted more than simply answering the call. According to the citizen, Lieutenant Case got personally involved and went above and beyond to render medical aid and notified family members of the incident.

The citizen stated that if Lieutenant Case had not responded to their cries for help, they may have died or sustained serious injuries. For his actions, the Oxford Police Department is awarding Lieutenant Case the Blue Line Award."
