Today the PCSO, along with Panola County Emergency Operations , Panola County Coroner’s Office, Lifeguard Ambulance Service of Panola County, Mississippi, and numerous firefighters from several are Fire Departments all came together for a morning of Active Shooter Response training at Pope School.
The Deputies honed their skills on responding to an active shooter event while the firefighters honed their skills on triage care after a mass casualty event.
Special thanks to Casey Austin, Chris Downs, Captain Justin Maples, Captain Chuck Henson, Jackie Chapman, Dean Jones , and Lt. Clyde L Gill Jr. for helping manage the event and Pope School for letting us train there.
