After the first call at Hwy 61 and the Stateline we were back at the station and we were toned out to Hyw 61 at Stateline rd for a MVC, upon arrival we had a Sheriffs Department's patrol vehicle and another car with heavy damage, the Hwy was shutdown due to the wreck in memphis that we had just cleared, the patrol vehicle was parked with its lights on marking the Hwy was shutdown. No officer was in the patrol vehicle ,that was a blessing! A driver going north on Hwy 61 disregard the obvious sigh of all the blue lights on  the roadway and struck the patrol vehicle.  The driver was transported to the hospital and was the only injury on the scene.  PEOPLE PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO EMERGENCY SERVICES WORKERS WHILE WORKING EMERGENCY SCENES# SLOWDOWNAND PULLOVER!
