How many people were old enough to vote in Pontotoc County during 2021?

Of the 31,136 citizens living in Pontotoc County in 2021, 73.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 22,795 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 11,079 were male, constituting 48.6%, and 11,716 were female, making up 51.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Pontotoc County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.2%.
