On Sunday, March 16, former Pontotoc High School standout Brice Deaton’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks.
The game took place at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Redhawks this season.
The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at Joe Lee Griffin Field against Samford Bulldogs.
