On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former New Albany High School standout Maguire Miskelly’s current college team, the Mississippi Choctaws, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Miles Golden Bears.
The game took place at Bill Noble Park. This was their second matchup against the Golden Bears this season.
The Choctaws’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Orr Park against Montevallo Falcons.
